Project management tools help marketing teams to deliver more work at a faster rate no matter the type of company they are employed in, be it a small company where employees wear several hats or a fortune500 company with various departments. A recent research sought out to find out what marketers value most in these tools. About 400 in-house marketers reported that they use digital tools in order to create their work and manage it. Then the features and needs that are prioritized by teams in order to deliver marketing initiatives that encompass several varieties were tested out. Many teams reported that they used a project management software tool either daily or weekly. Some of the questions the research answered were the following: which roles tend to use work management tools more often and the answer was that jack-of-al-trade marketing teams were responsible for using them more often. Another question was what roles do marketing teams expect these tools to help them execute and the answer was that activities that are high volume and real time were most often the ones that marketers want these tools to help them in. The third question concerns the features that teams values the most and least in these tools which answer was that clear workflows and project details that were organized came tops.
