There are three different types of content and content marketing in the SEO world: branded content, content marketing, and native advertising. Content marketing includes content-as-brand and brand-as-content. The difference is that in one of these, the brand signifies the actual content, whereas the other is simply content promoting a brand. Content marketing refers to the actual promoting of this branded or non-branded content. Native advertising depicts an advertisement that directly reflects the same style and meaning that the brand originally radiates.
