This is a *massive* update. Here’s a list of most of the biggest changes.
Folder links in activity feed
When a feed is updated, the event in the activity feed now includes a clickable link to the Feed folder.
Selectable statistics type in activity feed
There is now a drop-down selection control on the activity feed panel to select the type and time frame shown in the activity widget.
TinyMCE v4
The HTML editor is updated to the latest version.
UI fixes to support most tablets
There may yet be small problems for the new smaller sized tablets, but in general the system should be usable if not perfect.
Extensive MTurk changes
There was a complete rework of the MTurk functionality. Refer to the user manual as the changes are too substantial to list here.
Feedbin and pinboard Feed types
We added these two Feed types
New options on worker task reassignment
In reassigning worker tasks, there is better control of what tasks get reassigned. This allows you to more easily more workers between Personas
Make the editor window bigger (90% of window)
For editing HTML content, the edit area is now far larger so you don’t have to drag the lower right corner.
HTML (code) mode in editor
You can now view source code in the HTML editor
Advanced settings for images in editor
There are now some common style settings available for the images inserted in the editor.
Remove old workflow types and rearrange workflow menu
The non-templated workflows are now gone, having been replaced with the template driven workflows. The workflow selection control is now a more friendly and better organized multilevel combo.
Remove google reader feed type
This is a dead Feed type so it has been removed
Centralize venue credential management
Creating a Venue now references credentials on a credentials tab so login details are located in one place.
Change display of the content library
Content, Feed, and Venue are now completely separated in the UI and the Drafts folder is hidden (it is for internal use only).
Improved workflow launcher
The way workflows are assigned to folders and how they work internally is completely new in this version. Workflows on folders are now “Workflow Rules” and are listed on a Persona tab by that name. Select workflow types (currently just Scheduler) run directly on folders (rather than on the documents within folders) so they show the workflow icon. The workflow rules show a different icon.
This change also removes the red/green item processed indicator on documents.
Filter framework
There are now Persona wide filters that can be used on both worker and turker tasks to automatically filter results. See the documentation for details.
User assigned name on workflow rules
There is now a user assigned name that can be applied to the workflow rule. This helps identify what the rule is actually for, since the workflow types can be used for many different purposes now that they are fully templated.
Several new venues
The new Venues include Buffer and Dlvr.it which ultimately allows us to connect to almost anything using the external tools. Native Venues include Drupal, Email, Hubspot, LinkedIn, RSS/Atom, Tumblr, and (of course!) WordPress.
