At one time, businesses focused on SEO in order to make sure they were being seen in search results. The problem they found, was that the content they created that worked best for being found by search engines, wasn’t the best content to just inform potential customers about who they are. And with all of the paid content on the first page of search rankings, it has become a lot harder for businesses to just engineer their sites to organically land at the top.
