This is a “dot release” so it is primarily for bug fixes, but there are some decent minor enhancements included as well. The list following is in no particular order as most of you will get some good out of all of them. Enjoy. 🙂
Template Subfolders (P188)
As many of you have created more and more complex workflows, the collection of templates you’ve created has gotten hard to manage with naming conventions alone as a tool. With this releas
e, you can now use sub-folders in both Templates and Templates/MTurk to organize your templates in any way you like. We’ll be provided what we think are best practices, but we invite you
to experiment as you like and share the results in chat.
Re-re-change “Copy of” behavior (P219 rework)
The change for “copy of” was incorrect. It is now working as intended so that we don’t end up with indefinitely growing document names.
Fixed ‘unable to delete new worker’
Under many common circumstances, a newly invited worker could not be deleted. This is now fixed, but note carefully that if the worker has accepted the
Persona invite, then the app ‘owner’ that invited the worker must complete the ‘invition task’ before deleting the worker. Conversely, if the worker has
not accepted the invitation, the worker can be deleted. Existing invitations that are “stuck” should be fixed – if not, please email support and we’ll
fix it manually.
HubSpot Venue (P169 rework)
We were over-constraining the HubSpot Portal ID. This is now fixed. We except anything and leave it to HubSpot to validate it.
Improve feed reading (P205 – ongoing)
Behind the scenes, we are continuing to treat RSS feeds on a case-by-case basis and find ways to read everything that is acceptable to http://feedvalidator.org.
This is likely a non-ending project, but we are reducing the error rate in this update and expect to reduce it even further in the next one.
Better error message on template failure (P184)
Errors in the workflow task templates have been dumping the entire – very ugly – exception trace. This is now abbreviated to show only the most relevant part of the message.
Add GMT offset to Scheduler workflow (P226)
This enhancement is “by popular demand.” The times specified in the Schedule workflow have been “machine time” which is GMT. With this update, you now have the option to specify a GMT of
fset for the times you select. Plus, we prefill the workflow definition page with the offset taken from your browser. NOTE: If you have a remote worker building workflows for you, this o
ffset is taken from their browser – obviously not yours! – so do specify the offset they should use.
Skip TW worker review on filter rejection (P190)
For the MTurk-TW workflow, there is an option to skip the worker review step if there is an error or if the HIT expires prior to completion. This was also intended to skip a worker review
if work was submitted but failed automated filtering. That was not true, but has now been fixed. NOTE: Existing workflows can NOT be changed, so to take advantage of this feature, you w
ill need to delete and recreate your workflow rules. Moreover, workflows on existing documents will run to completion under the 4.2.2 workflow – it is only new documents started after you
update the rule that will get the updated workflow.
Minor Filter upgrades (P227)
There are two enhancements. First, you are now able to filter on character count as well as word count. Second, in addition to filtering on Title and Body, you can now filter on Name and
Description.
