Some search engine optimization (SEO) myths that can affect your google ranking includes thinking that only good content will get you a high ranking. Actually using keywords in your content will boost your ranking. Google doesn’t penalize your site just because it is keyword stuffing if your provide your user with good content. Google won’t penalize duplicate keywords. Putting keywords in your heading won’t improve your ranking and sometimes it will even lower your ranking. It may increase your ranking if you include some keywords in your domain name but don’t go overboard. You don’t want to have too many keywords in your domain name. You also don’t have to limit the number of words in your SEO page title. Keep re-visiting your page and trying different page titles to see if your rankings change.
