A minor update rolled out this morning to fix one long term bug and to update the MTurk API.
The bug was in the HTML editor and would cause the last change before saving to be lost if it was a markup change. The most common problem was (sadly) also the most common use. 🙁 Specifically, open an abstract, add a link at the end and save – the link is not saved. The work-around was to add text as the last change, but this bug is now (finally) found and FIXED!
The other changed made today was to update the MTurk interface to use HTTPS rather than HTTP – a changed required by Amazon coming March 1st. I’ve been in no hurry on this change since ResultFlow runs inside the Amazon data centers alongside MTurk so “security” is not really a concerned. In any case, the change was required and is now complete.
