July 7, 2019 This is a significant feature release
New Feature
- RF-65 – In-app chat using JiraSD plugin
With this release we begin the transition from Zendesk to Atlassian’s Service Desk. Related to this, we are also moving all software documentation off of our in-house WordPress instance onto Atlassian Confluence. On the bottom of every page of the ResultFlow app, you will now see a live chat widget. This is integrated with Service Desk in real-time and also provides a function to search the Confluence Knowledge Base. We do have some “catching up” to do on documentation, so the knowledge base is still a bit thin, but that will improve in the coming weeks so please give it a look and let us know what you think. - RF-173 – Persona properties page
When editing Persona details, you will now find a “Custom Properties” tab. These user-defined variables are available to scripts throughout the Persona and are a key enabler of the Curation Advisor. - RF-180 – Curation Advisor (v1)
This is the first version of just one of several features we have planned that will make finding and selecting suitable content easier, faster, and more effective. In this release, we’ve added a title highlighter to call attention to words and phrases that will be problematic for Facebook promotion. For example, “you” or “your” in a title is known to almost always result in ad rejection. This feature is easily retrofitted to your existing Personas, so look for a KB article on that in the next couple days.
Improvement
- RF-121 – Change app logo
This is an important change from a business perspective, but is purely cosmetic for you. 🙂
Bug
- RF-197 – RSS parsing throwing 403 errors on known-good, previously working feeds
A prior feature change had the unintended consequence of throwing errors on some previously working feed items. This now corrected so we have the benefits of the prior change without any increase in error rate.
