Release 4.5.5

April 2, 2017 By Leslie Leave a Comment

2 April 2017 This is primarily a bug fix release to fix a change in the Facebook API and a regression in the Worker Invite code.

New Feature

  • RF-9 – Enhance RSS Venue
There are additional options provided for how the description and link fields of an outbound RSS feed are composed. This will only be of interest if you are using RSS feeds to integrate with other software.

Bug

  • RF-47 – Duplicated MTurk HIT definition is incomplete
Several pieces of MTurk definitions were not getting copied. Duplicates are not *full* duplicates.
  • RF-48 – Worker invite is broken
The worker invite process was not allowing newly invited workers to login. This is now remedied.
  • RF-49 – Facebook channel authorization is broken
On 26 March 2017, Facebook removed support for the version of the API we are using resulting in failure of the authorize (and reauthorize) process for Credentials. This code has been upgraded so that authorization works as desired. Existing Facebook authorizations, and all other functions such as posting, were unaffected.
