Release 4.5.6

October 12, 2017 By Leslie Leave a Comment

12 Oct 2017 This is a very minor feature release that I needed internally.  It will be of interest to only a very few of you (you know who you are).

New Feature

  • RF-56 Allow setFeedItemUrl when feedItemUrl absent
Previously, when a document did not have a feedItemUrl value, the setFeedItemUrl function in scripts would simply ignore the call.  This is now changed to add the field if it is absent.  The very narrow case where this is truly useful is to add a feedItemUrl field to an MTurk result document.  Then, when putting that document into an RSS Venue and configuring the Venue to use feedItemUrl as the link field, you can do some interesting integration with external software.
If that doesn’t mean anything to you … then you probably don’t need it.  🙂   Carry on.
