This is a ‘hotfix’ to remedy a problem that release 4.5.1 creates for the version 9 reference persona. The v9 Promotion workflows depend on feedItemUrl returning null if it does not exist. This was inadvertently “improved” in the software to return an empty string. This breaks the promotion scripts!
The “improvement” is reversed in this release. To remedy any impact in your existing v9-based workflows, start with clicking ‘Task Done’ on any Script Error tasks. Then go into the Promotion Script folders and press ‘Run Workflows’. That’s it. You will not loose any work due to this problem – just a bit of time, and for that I apologize.
NOTE: Wait until your login screen shows 4.5.2 before performing this work-around … or you’ll just have to do it again. 🙁
